Hey, it happens to the best of us! You’ll need to either flush the black tank or use a black tank treatment like Unique. I’ve written on this before here: https://camperfaqs.com/rv-black-tank-clogged. Check it out, and let us know if you have any more questions. 🙂
::@IA_Camper is correct. But, there may be times when temps drop for extended periods of time, and depending on your RV model, you can just run the heat or some space heaters, or even re-winterize it (blow the lines out or add ant-freeze) if needed.
::We rarely hang anything on our walls, but when we have, we’ve used Command Strips, and they work great.
::JD Power is the big one. Good Sam has an RV vakuator and so does RV Trader. They all have their limits. Check out this article on how to get the most accurate value for an RV: https://camperfaqs.com/rv-value-guide
::If you have a Blue Beacon near you, you can wash it there, though it can be a bit pricey. You can also check with local truck stops to see if they allow RVs.
::Viair air compressors are an excellent option. The Viair 450p would more than do the job and is portable (only weighs 13lbs.). The downside is that it’s a little pricey. They have cheaper models that would work too. I personally don’t have much experience with any other brand.
::Yep, any regular old blinds will work. Menards, Lowes, etc will have them in stock. Menards I know will even cut them down to the size you need for free.
::Terry’s correct. You could also have a 30a outlet installed if this is something you plan to do often. That way you could run everything as normal in your RV and not worry about overloading the outlet
::Not a dumb question at all. Just drain it into your tanks and dump your tanks like normal. RV antifreeze is non-toxic. 🙂
::Any membership is only worth it if you actually use it enough to cover its membership fees, which isn’t hard to do with a lot of them. Good Sam, for example, is only $29/year, and you get 10% off their campground stays, a fuel discount at Flying J’s, propane discounts, and free dumping at Camping World locations. Just a few stays at one of their campgrounds and you’ve already got back the membership fee.
I would suggest doing a little research and finding the one (or ones) that you feel you will actually use and give it a try. I personally like the Good Sam membership. Here’s a breakdown of 7 of the big ones: https://camperfaqs.com/rv-memberships
::Good idea to save some $$. Obviously, in your situation, you can fill up right when leaving the RV park. If that doesn’t get you through to your next RV park stay, you can always stop at many RV dump stations, marinas, truck stops and gas stations, etc. Here’s a post of more ideas: https://camperfaqs.com/where-to-fill-rv-fresh-water-tank
::I like Thetford Aqua-Clean Kitchen and Bath Cleaner. But just Dawn and a brush work fine, too.
