Boondockers, where do you fill up with fresh potable water? We want to boondock a few nights every now and then to save on campground costs, but I’m already stressing about how we’re going to get water.
Good idea to save some $$. Obviously, in your situation, you can fill up right when leaving the RV park. If that doesn’t get you through to your next RV park stay, you can always stop at many RV dump stations, marinas, truck stops and gas stations, etc. Here’s a post of more ideas: https://camperfaqs.com/where-to-fill-rv-fresh-water-tank
Most state parks and national forest campgrounds that have dump stations have potable water. Just check their website or call ahead.
The dump station directory on this site also lists water availability.
Thanks for the replies. Sounds like with a little planning ahead it shoudlnt be much of an issue. Also, I didn’t realize this site had a dump station directory. Pretty handy!
