We are looking for advice on purchasing a small lightweight portable air compressor that’s powerful enough to pump 70-80 psi for our RV tires. We’ve tried 2, but they weren’t powerful for inflation.
Viair air compressors are an excellent option. The Viair 450p would more than do the job and is portable (only weighs 13lbs.). The downside is that it’s a little pricey. They have cheaper models that would work too. I personally don’t have much experience with any other brand.
Does it take a long time when trying to pump up an RV tire to 80psi?
It depends on the tire size. Here’s their fill rate chart:
I have the Milwaukee M18 pump. It inflates up to 150psi
