I would wipe it out with vinegar and leave an open box of baking soda in there to absorb any odors.
Great reminders! For pet owners, I would add placing a “Dog Inside” sticker (or whatever type of pet you have) on the door so firemen know to look for them.

I’d also bump that PSI up unless you’re comfortable with it at its current setting. 45-50 might make a noticeable difference. Mines at 60 and I’ve never had any issues.

Yep, we double filter too. Filter going in and then again using a Brita filter for drinking and cooking.

I believe Thetford owns the NOrcold brand so you could reach out to them and see what they suggest. Good luck
This pretty much sums up my experience with one. I set the thermostat to 103 and just ran my showers all on hot and it worked flawlessly for me after that.
I’m not sure. I turned the water off at the spigot while my wife went to the office, but I never stuck around to ask them what happened.
