I bought some Super Tech RV and Marine antifreeze from Wal-Mart. I had about half a jug left over from winterizing and left it in the camper. I went this morning to check on things and noticed the antifreeze in the jug was frozen! I think the lowest its been is 5 degrees. Is this normal or should I never get this brand again?? If its not normal should I worry about my lines bursting?

That’s actually normal. It will freeze but will NOT expand like water

@ia_camper is correct. To expand on that, it will freeze, but won’t expand until it hits whatever temperature it’s rated for. In other words, if it’s rated for -50, it will not start to expand until temps of -50 are reached. You should have nothing to worry about.

                      Makes sense. Thanks
