I really looked into it, even spoke to a few members in this forum about it, but ultimately decided against it. Too many things can go wrong and your insurance might not cover it if something happens.
March 25, 2025 at 3:18 pm in reply to: Do you use the cruise control when pulling your trailer? #42886::We don’t leave water hooked up. We fill our tanks, and when tha is gone, we empty the grey/black and refill with fresh water. BUt if we leave for an extended period of time I still turn the water pump off.

::That specific RV Lock one and an Onnais were on my short list (this one https://www.amazon.com/ONNAIS-Replacement-Password-Control%EF%BC%8CRV-Versatile/dp/B0CBP7LD9D). They both have great reviews, but teh RV Lock one seems to be way more popular. Thanks for the feedback!
::Dealing with maintenance and repairs. Something unexpected always happens that requires a fix. You learn how to be handy real quick when you own an RV.

::I went through this process a few months back and ultimately ended up getting a mattress topper, which was a lot cheaper and so far has done a good job. But, in my search, Brooklyn Bedding and Wilderness RV Mattress were highly recommended.
::Not much more to add, except maybe moochdock at a friends or family members property if they live near where you plan to stay.
::+1 for Thetford. Havent had any issues with it, unlike our old Dometic 300 which started leaking internally and rotted/warped our bathroom floor.
