Amazon is running some good black friday deals on rv locks with keypads. has anyone upgraded their OEM lock with a keypad? What brand did you go with?

I did exactly that over a year ago. I went with an RV Lock brand keypad locks. It was one of the most popular and highly-rated keypad locks on Amazon at the time.  I haven’t had any issues with it yet. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you can get a good deal.

RV Lock! Here’s the one I went with:

                  rv-lock

Looks like its on black Friday sale right now too!

I got the compact version, but there’s also the V4, which is a little more heavy-duty with bigger buttons. Be sure to watch the video in the product description as it has some helpful tips to help you get the right model and ensure it’ll fit.

That specific RV Lock one and an Onnais were on my short list (this one https://www.amazon.com/ONNAIS-Replacement-Password-Control%EF%BC%8CRV-Versatile/dp/B0CBP7LD9D). They both have great reviews, but teh RV Lock one seems to be way more popular. Thanks for the feedback!

Honestly, either one would work just fine. I’ve been happy with the RV Lock brand, and I know a lot of people in this community have too.

+1 for RV Lock. Installed one last Spring. Worked great so far. Its tsarting to get cold out now so we’ll see how it performs in freezing weather….

Cool! I keep mine winterized so I’m not too worried about performance in cold temps. But if you remember let us know how it works for you.
