Good advice above. I would add taking breaks when needed. I’ve white knuckled it through high winds more times than I can remember. Give your arms and mind a rest when you can.

I set mine to 500 so I can power wash the dishes! lol

Between 40-50 is what I’ve always done.

Been living in my RV for years – cheap lot rent (I’ve paid as little as $400/month for a 6 month reservation), no yard work, and simpler life.

I’ve never used one. Just use plenty of water and empty  my tanks regularly.

That’s one of the reasons we mostly stay at state parks. Bigger lots and less packed (usually).

Any sofa sleeper will work as long as it fits. Just measure your current space and go to your local furniture shop.

As others mentioned, Campendium, and I also like iOverlander, but it depends on the type of camping. Campendium is great for regular RV sites and even for boondocking spots. If you’re a memebr of a club, like KOA, Harvest Hosts, etc., you’ll want to use their apps. Usually, you’ll find campgrounds on one app that you won’t on another, so I typically check a few apps when searching.

My wife goes a little overboard hanging stuff on the walls and just decorating in general. Use command strips. And wipe the area with alcohol first.

I just use those battery powered door alarms that you can get anywhere. You’ll want the ones with a remote so you can turn them on and off when outside the RV. They’re loud, so hopefully if somebody tries to come through the door, it would scare them off. Those and my dog.
