Trying to find a campsite to book without planning 6 months to a year in advance is frustrating. ALong with climbing campground fees, gas, and everything else going up.

::Closing all entry points is the closest thing you’ll get to a guarantee. And you didnt specify if you have a motorized RV or trailer. Motorized can be a little harder since mice can easily access the engine area and enter. Thats where the cat comes in handy! LOL

::Pikes Peak is a must! Make sure to get some donuts from the gift shop at the top. And take the cog if you’re not comfortable or have a vehicle to drive up.
Also, Cave of the WInds, Royal Gorge (the dinner train through the gorge was fun too), plenty of hiking too if thats your thing.

And I totally understand where you’re coming from Shannon. It can be tough. Motivation is definitely an issue. I used to have both motivation/distraction issues until I started getting up before everybody and knocking out my work. I know its not an option for everybody. But maybe give it a try if you can. 🙂
