Thanks for all the thoughts so far. We DO use it, but I wanted to make sure there wasn’t a reason we shouldn’t be.
::We bought new appliances, linens, cookware, and dishes for the camper, so we didnt have to haul them in and out every time. So really, like above, its just food, clothes, and like toothapste, and maybe the odd thing here or there. 🙂
December 10, 2024 at 12:38 pm in reply to: Can you take your travel trailer though a truck wash? #42238::We’ve taken our truck and travel trailer (2018 Keystone) through a Blue Beacon. They did a great job. The one we went through they actually have people that wash it for you. Its not a big automated machine and you dont have to do it yourself. I think it was around 50 or 60 bucks. Well worth it, imo!
::I’ve got a little jar of sand from all of the beaches we have camped at, which isn’t many. Thats about as far as “collecting” things as I’ve gone.
::That makes sense. We have not tried using blocks under the jacks. I’ll look into it, thanks!
::This is what we do too. We put down a honeycomb mat over the shower drain to make sure no litter goes down the drain. And just remove the box and mat when we shower.
September 23, 2024 at 3:25 pm in reply to: What do you prepare ahead of time for camping meals? #41863::Don’t really prepare or cook ahaed, but we do a lot of crockpot and instant pot meals. Just load it up in the morning, head off to do whatever, then come back and have diner ready. Easy and saves time.
::Towing… and I don’t even do it, my husband drives the truck, but it still stresses me out every time!
