Forest River and Winnebago are recalling over 2,000 travel trailers due to safety issues that range from fire hazards to mislabeled tire specifications. The biggest concern involves more than 2,000 Forest River trailers where improperly connected electrical wires could cause overheating and fires. Smaller recalls target incorrect tire pressure info on Forest River models and wrong tire sizes listed on Winnebago trailers. Owners will be notified by mail, with all fixes offered free of charge.
