Forest River’s New Card Makes It Possible Forest River’s new Homeline Card lets qualified homeowners use a home equity credit line to finance an RV, with no required down payment and repayment terms up to 30 years. Credit limits can reach $400,000, but there’s a significant tradeoff: the borrower’s home secures the debt. Choice Hotels Makes a $130 Million Move Into RV Travel Choice Hotels has agreed to acquire Harvest Hosts, bringing Boondockers Welcome, CampScanner, Brit Stops and the membership and events side of Escapees RV Club into its business. Harvest Hosts is expected to keep its name, CEO and leadership team, with no immediate membership changes announced. Choice highlighted its hotel loyalty program as part of the opportunity, but has not announced points or shared benefits. Escapees Mail Service and RV parks are outside the deal. Camping World Closes Four Dealerships as Its Stock Takes Another Hit Camping World has closed four dealerships, cut more jobs and warned that its 2026 earnings will fall below its already reduced forecast. Two locations are intended to reopen, though the company has not identified the affected dealerships or a timeline. Weak demand and heavier discounting continue to squeeze new RV sales margins.
