          Wyoming Will Require RVers to Certify Before Driving Teton Pass

          Wyoming is preparing a new safety requirement for RV drivers, anyone towing a trailer, and drivers of vehicles weighing or rated above 10,000 pounds on Teton Pass. The WY22 SAFE PASS program, expected to launch by October 2026, will require drivers to complete an online self-certification covering steep grades, brake fade, vehicle weight, current restrictions, and alternate routes. Certifications will last one year. Existing rules, including the 60,000-pound weight limit and the seasonal trailer ban from November 15 through April 1, will remain in effect. The program follows several serious crashes involving large vehicles and comes alongside new brake-check and warning signs on the pass.

          Liquified Becomes Prime RV and Moves Into RV Hardware

          Liquified, the RV products company founded by Matt Foxcroft of Matt’s RV Reviews, has rebranded as Prime RV as it expands beyond tank treatments and exterior-care products. The new name brings Liquified, Liquishine, and the company’s new Gravity product line under one brand. Its first hardware release is the $89.99 Gravity 20-Foot Premium Sewer Hose Kit, made from 24-mil TPE with reinforced connections and a clear sewer elbow. Prime RV says it will replace the hose if it fails during normal use, and launch purchases include bottles of Liquified tank treatment and Liquishine Wash & Wax.

          Internal Emails Add a New Layer to the Patrick-Lippert Merger Review

          Diesel Hits a Record $6.50 as RV Travel Costs Surge

          The national average price of diesel reached a record $6.505 per gallon on September 20, up nearly $1 from a month earlier and far above the $3.70 average from a year ago. California has climbed above $8.40 per gallon, while Washington is above $7.40. Tight global refinery supplies, disruptions affecting Russia and the Middle East, high crude prices, and low U.S. distillate inventories are all contributing to the increase. The U.S. Energy Information Administration still projects lower prices ahead, but its September forecast was prepared before diesel reached its latest record, leaving RVers with considerable uncertainty when budgeting for long trips.
