Does Thermacell actually work?

          Those who have used Thermacell for mosquitoes, did it actually work?

              I recommend them. We use them every time mosquitoes are an issue and they seem to protect about a 15  to 20 sq foot perimeter around us. Wind will affect it though.

              Are they effective as DEET or permethrin treated clothes? Probably not, but they are helpful if you don’t want chemicals on your skin and clothes.

                  Great, thanks! The wife hates spraying bug spray on the kids so I’m looking for alternatives. I’ll give it a shot.

                      I’ve used them in the past with success, but we camp a lot, and it would get pricey constantly buying refills for it. Something to think about.
