My burner flames have been really low lately, so on the advice from another forum, I tried adjusting the propane regulator. I turned the little screw about a 1/4 turn clockwise and there is no noticeable flame difference. It still is barely going. Any ideas?

I’m sure you’ll find varying opinions about this in forums, but I would recommend NOT attempting to adjust the pressure on your regulator yourself. I would leave that up to an RV service tech. They have the proper equipment and will run specific tests to ensure the safety of your propane system.

Propane regulators are cheap. A good one costs $35 and it will come calibrated properly from the factory. And they are near fool-proof to install.

Buy two and keep one on hand in case it goes out.

Good point by @IA_Camper. It’s $37 for the Flameking regulator mentioned here https://camperfaqs.com/best-rv-propane-regulator.

It is probably 8 years old at least, so I may be due for a repalcement anyways. I’ll just buy a new one. I’ve never installed one before, so I may open another thread for installation tips/how to. 🙂 Thanks for your help.
