Vornado Space Heaters Recalled Over Shock and Fire Risks
Do you use a Vornado space heater in your RV? Vornado has recalled about 7,780 VH2 Whole Room Heaters sold on Amazon due to power cord issues that pose a risk of electric shocks and fires. Affected units have date codes “JUL24” or “AUG24” on the underside. No injuries have been reported, but owners are urged to stop using the heaters and contact Vornado for a refund.
Michigan State Parks to Raise Camping Fees This Summer
Starting August 1, 2025, Michigan campers will see nightly price increases of $4–$10 for modern and semi-modern campsites. High-demand locations will also add a peak-season premium. Rustic campsites will remain unchanged, but the extra funds will go toward upgraded facilities, better customer service, and new amenities like fire pits.
