The wife slid down our stairs this morning. Shes OK but a little banged up. WHat do you recommend to keep the stairs from getting so slippery. I’m thinking those sticky sandpaper strips, but didn’t know if anybody else had some good ideas.

This is exactly what we used https://www.amazon.com/Lifegrip-Anti-Slip-Traction-Tape/dp/B0CSN8W5B7/

Has survived southern heat and cold northern winters. The glow strip on it also helps see the steps at night.

Grip tape like Bill mentioned is a great option. The glow strip on it is a nice touch! I know some who have used outdoor carpet on the steps which has the added bonus of keeping the steps cool when in direct sunlight (your bare feet and dogs paws will thank you). You could potentially paint them with bed liner too.

This doesnt address the stairs specifically but adding a handrail is one of the best things I did. I got this one on Amazon.
