We’ve always travelled with our two dogs. Never had an issue. We just got a third and I’m curious if anyone has ran into issues with that many dogs at campgrounds. Rarely, if ever, have I seen a number of pets allowed at a campground.

We just got our third dog a little less than a year ago. We’ve only been camping a few times with them all but I know one had a two-dog limit, but we were never questioned when we were there. We list two if asked and walk them in pairs.

From what I’ve seen, some parks have a two-dog limit, but most don’t post a limit at all. They mostly seemed to be concerned with breed and/or aggressiveness. Probably for insurance purposes. If you’re concerned about violating park rules, just let them know you have three dogs and see if it’s ok. I’m sure they won’t care if they aren’t loud and aggressive.
