I’m looking at a fairly large Class-A (I don’t know the weight or length off the top of my head). But it got me thinking, will I need a special license to drive it? Or does a regular driver license work for all RVs?
That will depend on the state you live in. Check with your local DMV to see if they require some sort of special license. If you have the required license, whether that be a regular license or special one, it will be legal in all states, so no need to worry if you cross into another state.
@ia_camper is exactly right. I would add, even if your state doesn’t require a special license, if this is your first large motorhome, I would recommend taking an RV driving class.
