Those that have used Starlink, does the weather affect its connectivity?

Heavy starlink user here. I’ve never lost connectivity due to weather/clouds, but I have noticed slownees in dark, cloud covered skies and when it’s raining. Nowhere near as bad as when I would constantly lsoe satellite service with DIshTV, for comparison sake (different services, I know). Regardless, its the best option available right now for internet.

I’ve never had an issue except once in an extreme thunderstorm when we couldn’t connect for like 10 minutes. Otherwise, it worked great.  At the end of the day, it is satellite-based internet, so it won’t be as reliable as a fiber connection at your home, for example. But, like ia_camper said above it’s the best out there.

Thanks! Yea, I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect or even comparable to a home fiber connection, but just curious if it had  alot of issues. Thanks for sharing your experience!
