Another pop-up question, if it rains right before we have to leave, for example, is it OK to close it up before its dry? I’m worried about mold growing on the fabric.

It’ll be fine. That said, I feel like no matter how well we protected our canvas material it would inevitably get some moldy spots, which wasnt too hard to get off. Part of the regular maintenance was cleaning the canvas anyways.

It happens quite often if you camp enough – rain, morning dew, etc. Liek Tory said, just air it when you get home (might take a few days to completley dry).
If you do see signs of mold, use Star Brite mold and mildew remover. Works wonders

We also have a few resources here for when you need to remove mold or just routinely clean your pop-camper fabric. Theres one for canvas and one for vinyl material.
