Finding free RV campsites that include hookups seems to be getting harder every year, which leads many travelers to assume those days are gone.
They are not.
A small group of towns, parks, and casinos still offer free stays with power and sometimes water and sewer, creating rare opportunities to cut your costs without giving up basic comforts.
Most of these places were built to support tourism or community recreation, so RVers benefit while passing through.

1. Winnebago Visitor Center

Travelers generally check in at the visitor center before parking. 2. Lamar City Park

Lamar allows free camping for the first night, then charges a $20 nightly fee with a total limit of seven nights. 50/30/20-Amp electrical hookups are available at three sites, and a water fill and dump station is located within the park. The camping area runs on a first-come basis, and visitors have access to restrooms, although there are no shower facilities at this time.
3. Marysville City Park

Marysville offers a small number of RV spots with electric hookups. Water is available from central potable spigots in the park, rather than individual connections at each site. A dump station sits near the restroom building, and camping is donation-based with a short stay limit. The park is within easy reach of walking trails and local restaurants, so many RVers use it as a convenient overnight or multi-night stop in northeast Kansas.
4. Santa Fe Safari RV Campground

Santa Fe Safari provides paved RV sites with 30/50a electric and water hookups, along with a dump station and shower facilities. The first twenty-four hours are free, then a nightly fee of $20 begins, with a limit of ten days within a thirty-day period. Travelers often use this campground as a convenient stop between central and southeastern Kansas.

5. 50,000 Silver Dollar Bar

6. Gray Wolf Peak Casino

9. Lincoln Park

12. Raleigh Reservoir Campground
