Finding RV sites with water and electricity for $30 or less can be especially tough in many southwestern states. But New Mexico quietly remains one of those states where hookup camping still feels affordable.

Several federal and state campgrounds across the state keep rates under $33 a night, and if you hold an America the Beautiful Senior Pass, some drop to around $10.

Here are seven worth bookmarking before everyone else figures it out.

Note: The America the Beautiful Senior Pass may provide a 50% discount at many federal campgrounds managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, and others. However, each location sets its own policies. Campers should confirm pass acceptance and applicable discounts with the managing agency before booking.
