Alright communtiy, at what point is it too windy that you bring your awning in? Is there a rule you follow?

If we’re not using it, it’s retracted. If we are using it and the wind noticeably starts to pick up, it gets retracted. I’ve had too many get ruined due to wind to risk it anymore.

Usually if the wind is 10mph or higher I roll it in or I won’t even bring it out

When the wind starts to make the awning flap, it gets rolled in! And we never leave it out unattended.
