What do you use to ensure your drinking water is clean?

  I’ve seen some pretty nasty “potable” water at campgrounds. What do you use to ensure the drinking water is clean?

  I use a Camco TastePure connected to the hose running into my fresh water tank so nasty water doesn’t pollute it. I also have a filter on my kitchen sink faucet.
