Grand Design Rolls Out Stronger Omega Frame Amid Ongoing Investigations
Grand Design just launched its Omega fifth wheel frame, boasting beefier steel, extra fasteners, and added structural supports, and it comes with a five-year limited warranty that even applies retroactively. The timing of this upgrade is stirring questions since it lands shortly after a federal investigation and class-action lawsuit were filed over alleged frame issues in older models. Grand Design hasn’t said the two are connected, but the overlap is hard to ignore. The new Omega design won’t be available for past units, and there’s no mention of retrofits.

Love’s Opens Full-Service Stop in Trinidad, CO, Filling Key I-25 Gap
Love’s just gave RVers and truckers a welcome addition along southern Colorado’s I-25 corridor with a new travel stop in Trinidad. This location brings 65 truck spaces, 10 RV hookups, Arby’s, Dunkin’, showers, and even a dog park. Positioned between two other Love’s sites, it smooths out a previously sparse stretch between Walsenburg and the New Mexico border. The store adds 80 jobs and is already tying into the local community through donations and nonprofit partnerships.

AAA Projects Record Thanksgiving Travel as 81.8 Million Hit the Road
This year’s Thanksgiving is shaping up to be the busiest ever, with AAA estimating nearly 82 million Americans will travel, most of them by car. Air travel is also ticking up despite earlier FAA disruptions, and cruise bookings are seeing major growth. Oregon alone expects more than a million travelers. Meanwhile, a recent shutdown of the Olympic Pipeline is nudging gas prices higher in the Pacific Northwest.
