Love’s just added another spot along Interstate 25, and this one fills a noticeable gap for anyone running between Walsenburg and the New Mexico line. The company opened a new travel stop in Trinidad, Colorado, giving professional drivers and RV travelers a new place to refuel, grab a bite ot eat, and even stay the night.

So what does that mean for people rolling through southern Colorado? The store sits at 1001 El Moro Road, right off the interstate, and brings 65 truck parking spaces, 10 RV hookups, three dedicated RV parking spaces, six diesel bays, and four showers. It ends up being one of Love’s more flexible layouts for mixed traffic, since it supports long-haul drivers, RV travelers, and anyone passing through on a long north-south run.

Love’s Fresh Kitchen is part of the new build, offering daily prepared items like salads, fruit, and sandwiches. Arby’s and Dunkin’ round out the food options, and the store includes laundry facilities, a dog park, roomy restrooms, a CAT Scale, and self-checkout lanes.

Community support is part of the upcoming launch. The company is donating to several local groups, including Fisher’s Peak Elementary School, Somebody Cares Project, and Children’s Hospital Colorado. District managers in the region will continue working with nonprofits through the company’s community grant program.

The site totals 11,100 square feet and adds around 80 jobs to the area. It sits between two existing Love’s locations on the I-25 corridor, creating a steady chain of fuel, food, and rest options that stretches from Colorado into northern New Mexico.
