          Starlink Quietly Adds AI Training Clause to Privacy Policy. Here’s How to Opt Out

          Starlink users just got a new checkbox to worry about. As of January 15, 2026, the satellite internet provider’s updated privacy policy allows customer data to be used for artificial intelligence and machine learning training by both Starlink and unnamed third-party collaborators. Unless users manually opt out, they’re included by default. While the policy doesn’t spell out what specific data types are shared, it does offer a way to object through your account settings. RVers and mobile users, in particular, might want to take a closer look since they often depend on Starlink as their main internet source on the road.

          Grand Design RV Recalls Over 7,500 Fifth Wheels for Suspension Flaw

          Grand Design RV is recalling thousands of its popular Momentum and Solitude fifth wheel trailers due to a problem with U-bolts that may not hold the axle in place. The issue, affecting models from 2021 to 2024, could lead to dangerous shifting of the axle, potentially causing loss of control. No fix has been finalized yet, but owners will receive interim safety letters starting in March. Until then, Grand Design urges trailer owners to check their suspensions before hitting the road.

          Michigan’s State Park Upgrades Bring 10 Campgrounds Back Online in 2026

          After years of delays and construction fueled by federal pandemic funding, Michigan is finally preparing to reopen a batch of upgraded state campgrounds in 2026. Projects span everything from upgraded shower houses to new electrical systems, backed by $273 million from the American Rescue Plan. Brighton, Clear Lake, and Twin Lakes are just a few of the sites scheduled to reopen starting this May, with more expected throughout the summer. But don’t toss your gear in the RV just yet; timelines still depend on weather and supply availability.
