Has anyone considered, or have, rent out their RV? Does it matter if its a trailer or motorized? I thought it might be a good way to offset costs while I’m not using it.

I would never even consider it. I have enough problems with things breaking that I don’t need an inexperienced renter to break more stuff on it.

It’s not for me, but I know some people do it successfully. If you want to try it out, I took an investigative look at it and detailed how to do it here: https://camperfaqs.com/how-to-rent-out-your-rv. Hope that helps.

looks like RVshare has both trailer and motorized RVs for rent. I dont know which would be worse, some stranger trying to pull my trailer or driving my motorized RV… lol

Also, check with your insurance to make sure they will cover any damages that may occur while its rented out! I could see a nightmare situation there.
