We are planning to head down to Gulf Shores, Alabama this summer. It’s our first time there. Any recommendations on where to stay that’s close to the beach?

Luxury RV Resort… beautiful park, reasonably priced, and walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. It’s the closest RV park to the beach (as far as I know). It fills up fast though.

+1 for Luxury RV Resort! If you’re looking for a nice clean park close to the beach this is perfect.
I’ve stayed at Gulf Shore State Park too and its another great option. Its only a mile or so away from the beach, but has a lake. It’s massive – like almost 500 RV spots, but its still hard to get a reservation so start looking now! Also, bring a bike as the park is huge and they have a nice trail system and its a quick way to get to the beach.

Gulf state park! Huge lots, you dont feel like your neighbors are an arms length away. Like Georgia said though its hard to get a spot.
