Truck stop gasoline meets federal standards, so it’s safe to use. The difference people are talking about isn’t safety, it’s detergent levels. Some gasoline meets higher cleanliness standards than others, and not all truck stop brands are certified under those programs.
That doesn’t mean truck stop gas is bad, but over the long term, higher-detergent fuel can help keep gasoline engines cleaner, especially under heavy loads like RV use. It’s more of a long-term maintenance consideration than a short-term concern.
He mentions TOP TIER gas in his video, and that’s exactly what I recommend people to use, and I use many myself when possible.
