Why does only our hot water smell bad? I tried draining the water heater, ran bleach through it, and it still smells.

Well its been ongoing the last few weeks and we’ve been at two different parks. I can check with the park we are at now though

It could be well watre, but I’d suggest checking the anode rod. It’s pretty common for a magnesium anode rod to create that smell. Swapping it out for an aluminum-zinc rod often fixes the problem
