What’s everybody use for an electric heater in their RV? Looking for the best heater that is safe to keep us warm. We do have a furnace but want soemthing I can move around for better coverage, save on propane, etc.

I use a Heat Storm space heater and love it. Some are wall mountable, which can save space, but I have one with feet. I even use it in my basement when I’m at home, and it keeps our entire living area down there nice and warm. Had it for 7 years now.

Whatever you choose, make sure it is UL and/or ETL-listed and has built-in safety features like tip-over shut-off, overheat protection, etc. And some can be really loud. The Heat Sorm I mentioned above is nearly silent.

I have the Caframo space heater: https://www.caframobrands.com/9206cabbx.html. The way its designed it can’t be tipped over. It has adjustable thermostat, overheat protection, all that good stuff. I’ve had it for five years and would buy it again if it stopped working tomorrow.

And unlike most products, it’s not made in China.

I use our fireplace heater and a lasko space heater. Lasko is cheap, safe, and you can get them at your local Walmart, Home Depot, pretty much anywhere.

I use one of the oscilating tower heaters. It has a remote, programable thermostat, a timer (which really comes in handy) and safety features like tip-over shutoff and overheating protection. It’s worked well so far.  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07YDBCYT3

I’ve found the oil-filled radiator style are the best, imo. They silently fill the RV with even heat.
