Does hairspray set off a propane detector?

          Weird question, will hairspray setoff a propane detector? Twice now its went off after spraying my hair. Coincidence? Or maybe I just need anew propane detector?

                  Aerosol products, when sprayed near the detector, may set it off.

                          I would also suggest checking the expiration date if you haven’t recently just in case it does need to be replaced.

                              It is aerosol! They make a spritzer variety of the same stuff I use so I’ll try that and see if it helps. I did check the expiration and we are good. Thanks for the replies!
