For the seasonal campers, do you insure your RV for the full year or just half a year during camping season? I’m currently insuring it year-round but didnt know if I was throwing money away or not.

I keep coverage year-round. You never know what could happen to it while you’re not using it.

That said, you might want to speak to your insurance agent to see what the options are. For example, State Farm has (not sure if they still offer it) a policy that offers comprehensive coverage while you use it and storage insurance when you’re not. But it’s important to see what each plan covers and if the risk is worth the potential savings.

Definitely year round. It may even be required if you have a loan on your RV.

Even before we went full-time we always had comprehensive insurance coverage year round.

Makes sense. I do plan on keeping some level of insurance regardless. I was just wondering what others did before I called my agent. Thanks for the help!!
