Best way around Atlanta heading to Florida on I75

          We are taking I75 south down to Tampa, Florida. I’ve heard Atlanta is a nightmare. What’s the best way to avoid the traffic?

              I used to live South of ATL. Your best bet is to try and time it right and cruise through Atlanta around 3-5am. You’ll zip right through. If thats not possible, take I-285 which wraps you around the east of the city. I’d try to avoid rush hours, though4

                  I was coming to say the same thing as Bill. But, I’d still really try to hit an early morning or late at night time and stay on I75. I-285 isnt much better imo and is full of 18 wheelers that go around Atlanta.
