Want to see how a Winnebago is made? You can now tour their state-of-the-art facilities!
Winnebago has announced that throughout the summer, it will provide complimentary tours of its top RV manufacturing facilities. The facility in Forest City, where the company constructs Class A and C motorhomes, will offer tours at noon from Monday to Friday, with additional tours at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The Lake Mills facility will offer tours at 9:30 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.
According to their website, if you plan to take a tour, keep in mind:
- Reservations are highly recommended to ensure a space on the tour.
- Please call 641-585-6936.
- Closed-toe shoes are required.
- A safety vest and safety glasses are required and provided.
- There is significant walking on the tour.
- Minors must be 16 years old and accompanied by a parent/guardian.
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour.
- No video or photography is allowed on the tour.
- The tour takes approximately 2 hours.
