The Florida RV SuperShow held at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa last weekend (Jan 17-21) attracted over 75,000 visitors. Although attendance was down by about 5% compared to the 2023 show, this year’s figure is still the third-highest in the event’s history. For context, the 2022 show drew over 84,000 people, and the 2023 show saw 79,000 attendees.
Dave Kelly, the Executive Director of the Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA), expressed a positive outlook on the show. He noted that the feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many pleased with the outcomes of the event.
A significant aspect of this year’s show was Industry Day, which saw higher attendance and the unveiling of new products. Suppliers experienced a strong demand, evidenced by running out of brochures and having to reorder products due to high sales volumes.
Kelly attributed the slight drop in attendance to several factors, including the election year, high-interest rates, and increased gas prices, suggesting these elements might have influenced potential attendees’ decisions to participate in the event.
