Senate Votes to Revoke California’s Emissions Waivers, Raising Legal Questions
The U.S. Senate voted 51-44 to cancel three California vehicle emissions waivers, including the state’s push to phase out gas-powered cars by 2035. One Democrat, Elissa Slotkin of Michigan, sided with Republicans. The decision could clash with the Clean Air Act, which lets California set tougher emissions standards if approved by the EPA. The Biden administration’s EPA had granted these waivers earlier this year.

About 17% of campgrounds that added new features chose pickleball. RVC Outdoor Destinations said demand came directly from campers, and the courts have become a hit at their resorts across several states, often featuring tournaments and clinics led by pros.
