          Catastrophic Flood in Texas Sweeps Away RV Park, Fatalities Confirmed

          A devastating flood hit Ingram, Texas, last Friday, wiping out an RV park and tragically leading to confirmed deaths. Up to 15 inches of rain fell in some areas, with raging waters along the Guadalupe River forcing emergency rescues. Videos showed what used to be a bustling RV park completely gone. The Kerr County Sheriff's Office is still responding to calls and hasn’t released full details yet.

          California Gas Tax Just Went Up Again: Here’s What You’ll Pay Now

          Starting July 1, California raised its gas tax from 59.6 to 61.2 cents per gallon. This yearly bump is tied to inflation and is part of a 2017 law to fund road repairs and public transit. Drivers will pay about 24 cents more to fill a 15-gallon tank. New rules under the Low Carbon Fuel Standard also kicked in, which could add another 5 to 9 cents per gallon, though some earlier estimates were much higher.
