I’ve had a motorhome for about a year now and I’ve realized I have a lot to learn (this community has been a big help!). Are there any courses you recommend to be a better owner/operator? Like to learn better driving skills, maintenance and repair tasks, etc.? Thanks

Hi Kay, that’s a great mindset to have—owning a motorhome definitely comes with a learning curve. There are several well-regarded courses and resources that can help you level up your skills in areas like driving, maintenance, and overall RV operation.
RVSchool.com for driving, and I’ve heard great things about NRVTA’s RV Fundamentals Course here https://nrvta.com/nrvta-training-programs/educated-rv-owner/.
There’s a lot of great material on YouTube if you can’t make it to a course, and as always, we are here to help you learn! 🙂

Thanks! I’ve been looking at the NRVTA one. They have an online course which would be convenient given my situation. I realize any sort of driving course will have to be in-person to get the most out of it, but for the other stuff online would be nice.

Escapees has an RV Boot Camp that covers everything you’re looking for. I just looked and they have an online training program too, but if you could make their in-person camp you’d probably be better off.

Might want to check with your local community college if you have one. They might offer something along these lines or at least a driving class you could take
