Love’s has added another place for RVers to stay while traveling, this time at a newly opened travel stop in South Texas.

The company opened its new Premont, Texas, location on August 19 along U.S. Route 281. Among the amenities are four RV hookups, an RV dump station, laundry facilities and a dog park. The location also includes 59 truck parking spaces, four showers and several other services. (Love’s)

Four new RV sites at a single travel stop may not sound like major news on their own. But the opening is another addition to the Love’s RV network, which has been growing quickly across the country.

Love’s RV Network Has Been Expanding Fast

Less than a month ago, we reported that Love’s had apparently added 12 locations to its RV reservation network in just over a month.

An archived version of the Love’s reservation map from June 22 showed 125 locations. By July 27, the current map contained 137 listings.

That did not necessarily mean 12 entirely new RV facilities had been built during that period. Some could have been existing Love’s locations that recently added RV accommodations or were newly added to the reservation system.

Still, it was a sizable jump in a short period.

You can see our previous look at the expansion here: Love’s Adds RV Stop Locations as the Chain Expands Services for RVers.

The new Premont location is another addition to that growing network.

Love’s Has Bigger RV Expansion Plans for 2026

The continued growth follows a much larger plan Love’s announced earlier this year.

In February, the company said it planned to open 23 new RV Stops and add 150 RV hookups during 2026. Love’s said those additions would take its network to more than 140 RV Stop locations and approximately 2,000 hookups nationwide. (Love’s)

Love’s RV Stops vary quite a bit by location. Some are designed primarily as convenient overnight stops, while others offer more developed sites and amenities similar to what RVers might expect from an RV park.

That makes the expansion broader than simply adding a few electrical hookups to travel-center parking lots.

Love’s already has another advantage: its RV locations are tied into a large travel-stop network. Depending on the location, RVers may also have access to fuel, propane, dump stations, restaurants, showers, laundry, dog parks and other services they need while traveling.

Another Small Addition to a Much Bigger Network

The four hookups in Premont aren’t a major expansion on their own.

What makes the opening notable is that it continues a pattern we’ve been watching throughout 2026. Love’s has been adding RV locations, expanding its reservation network, and investing more heavily in services specifically for RV travelers.

With more than 140 RV Stop locations planned across the country, the company is becoming an increasingly significant player in where RVers can stay while traveling.

And if the expansion continues at its current pace, this probably won’t be the last new Love’s RV Stop we see this year.
