A strict 10 year rule is excessive imo. But for those that simply want photos to check the condition of an RV is fine by me. Look at it from the perspective of a park owner. Old, dilapidated campers are at a higher risk of catching fire due to aged wiring conditions, motorhomes are more likely to not start when it comes time to leave, some people HAVE ditched their old campers at campgrounds because it can be expensive/extremely hard to get rid of them, and I’ve heard from one park owner that insurance companies recommend it.
