Tiffin Motorhomes confirmed that Leigh Tiffin has resigned as president, effective immediately. The announcement, issued a day after THOR Industries acknowledged his departure, filled in a detail that had been missing from the initial disclosure.
The company said Leigh Tiffin was not fired and has moved on to a new role with National Indoor RV Centers, or NIRVC.
Tiffin said the decision was tied to a personal career opportunity focused on continued leadership and professional growth. No advance notice was given, and no successor has been named.
Leigh Tiffin is the grandson of founder Bob Tiffin and served as president during a period that included Tiffin’s acquisition by THOR in 2020. During his tenure, Tiffin continued operating out of Red Bay, Alabama, and maintained its brand identity under THOR’s ownership.
In its statement, Tiffin acknowledged Leigh Tiffin’s contributions and said his leadership strengthened the organization and reinforced the values associated with the Tiffin name. The company did not outline how presidential duties would be handled in the interim.
Tiffin emphasized that its operations remain unchanged. Manufacturing, staffing, and day-to-day business continue in Red Bay. The company stated that its long-term commitment to the local workforce and community is intact.
Family involvement at the company continues. Bob Tiffin remains actively engaged in a leadership and advisory role. Van Tiffin continues serving as Senior Advisor of Manufacturing, a position tied directly to production oversight and build quality. Tiffin also confirmed that additional family members, including Trent Tiffin, remain involved in ongoing operations.
THOR Industries reaffirmed its support for the brand and said Tiffin continues to operate with full corporate backing. According to THOR, the existing leadership team remains in place, and no disruptions to customers, dealers, or production schedules are expected.
Tiffin stated that all planned product launches remain on schedule, including the upcoming introduction of the Cornerstone brand. No changes to timelines were announced.
As of February 12, no permanent leadership replacement has been identified. Tiffin said further updates will be shared at a later date. Beyond confirming Leigh Tiffin’s resignation, his move to NIRVC, and continued operational continuity, the company has not announced changes to strategy, service policies, or dealer relationships.
