LCI Industries announced that Jason Lippert has retired and stepped down as the company’s president and chief executive officer after 32 years in the business.
Lippert also stepped down from the company’s Board of Directors, according to the announcement. He has agreed to serve in an advisory role for one year to support the transition.
The Board of Directors appointed independent director Johnny Sirpilla as interim chief executive officer, effective immediately. The company said the Board will conduct a search for a permanent CEO and expects to consider both internal and external candidates.
LCI Industries, traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker LCII, supplies engineered components to the recreation and transportation markets.
The company also announced a separate Board leadership change. Virginia “Ginnie” Henkels has been named Chair of the Board, succeeding Tracy Graham, who stepped down after 10 years of service. The company said Graham is leaving the Board to dedicate time to his core business.
The Board said Sirpilla, who has served on the Board since 2019, brings more than 35 years of executive and leadership experience in the RV and outdoor recreation industries.
“LCI Industries is a tremendous company with a bright future ahead, and we are committed to identifying a leader with the operational know-how and perspectives who can build on LCI Industries’ strong foundation to drive the Company’s next phase of profitable growth,” the Board said in the release.
The Board also thanked Lippert for his leadership and said the company grew from $125 million in annual revenue to more than $4 billion in annual revenue under his leadership.
“We want to thank Jason for his leadership and his deep commitment to LCI Industries over many decades,” the Board said. “His contributions have helped shape this great company and will be important drivers of our future growth.”
Henkels said the Board had been discussing chairman succession planning with Graham over the past several months.
“On behalf of the entire Board, I want to thank Tracy for his hard work and dedication over the last decade and for everything he has done for LCI Industries during that time,” Henkels said. “I am honored to take on the Chair role at this important moment for LCI Industries.”
Sirpilla said his focus as interim CEO will be on continuing the company’s strategy.
“I am committed to keeping the full focus of this organization on the strong execution of our strategy to serve customers and consumers and deliver compelling shareholder value,” Sirpilla said.
Lippert called his time leading the company “the privilege of my career” and said the Lippert family will continue to support the company.
“LCI Industries is a stronger business today than when I took the helm, and I am proud of what we have built together,” Lippert said. “At this important moment in the Company’s journey, this is the right time for this change.”
Graham said he began discussing his own succession planning with the Board in early 2026 and believes the CEO transition makes this the right time for him to step down.
“I have the utmost confidence in Ginnie, Johnny, and the team to carry LCI Industries forward and take it to new heights,” Graham said.
