Harvest Hosts is bringing back its “AleBlazer” role, and this time the company is looking for one craft beer-loving RVer to travel across the country visiting brewery Host locations.

According to the company’s announcement, the selected traveler will visit participating brewery Hosts, stay overnight, and document the experience through photos, videos, reviews, and social media content.

The role is tied to Harvest Hosts’ “Brew with a View” collaboration, a nationwide brewery program featuring more than 50 participating brewery Hosts across the country.

What the AleBlazer Will Do

The selected AleBlazer will travel by RV to participating brewery Host locations and help showcase the brewery stops, scenic stays, and RV travel experience along the way.

Each participating brewery is making its own version of a collaborative beer recipe originally developed with Boothbay Craft Brewery & Tavern, one of Harvest Hosts’ first brewery Hosts. Each brewery adds its own local twist to the recipe, giving RVers a different experience at each stop.

The company says the AleBlazer will capture the trip through photos, videos, reviews, and social media content.

Harvest Hosts also notes in the application that the AleBlazer will spend one night at participating locations, adding “no drinking and driving here.”

What the Selected RVer Receives

According to Harvest Hosts, the selected AleBlazer will receive:

  • A daily travel stipend
  • Beverages at participating brewery Hosts
  • A Harvest Hosts membership
  • An RV provided by Harvest Hosts for the journey, or a stipend for those traveling in their own RV

The announcement does not list the exact amount of the daily travel stipend.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable driving an RV.

Harvest Hosts says applicants should also have a love of breweries, RV travel, road trips, and adventure.

To apply, candidates are asked to submit 2 to 3 photos or videos showing their love of breweries, RV travel, or road trips. They also need to include one paragraph explaining why they would make a good AleBlazer and describing their road trip planning abilities.

Applicants are also asked to include their social media handles.

No Deadline Listed

Harvest Hosts says applications are now open through the Harvest Hosts website or LinkedIn.

The announcement does not list an application deadline, so interested RVers may want to apply sooner rather than later.

Why Harvest Hosts Is Bringing the Role Back

Harvest Hosts first launched the AleBlazer search in 2022. According to the company, that search drew more than 1,000 applications and led to a nationwide brewery RV adventure.

“We created the AleBlazer role to celebrate two things our Members love: RV travel and discovering great breweries,” said Joel Holland, CEO of Harvest Hosts. “Our brewery Hosts have become some of the most popular destinations in our network, and Brew with a View gives RVers an entirely new way to experience them.”

Harvest Hosts says its network now includes more than 9,500 unique overnight RV stays across North America, including wineries, farms, breweries, golf courses, museums, and other small businesses and attractions.

Brewery Hosts are one of the company’s most popular categories, giving members a way to combine RV travel with local craft beer stops.
