I’d personally go with an inverter over standard generator. But, as mentioned above, the Champion runs pretty clean and isn’t too loud for a standard generator. Still any of the inverter brands – Honda, Westinghouse, etc., – powered to your needs will be more efficient, quieter, and in many cases lighter than a standard generator.
