Small Pop-up Campers Under 10 Ft
The best small pop-up campers come from reputable manufacturers like Forest River and Coachmen, are compact for easy towing, and have enough space and amenities to meet your needs.
Did you know…
Pop-up campers are commonly measured in box size, which is the length of the interior before sliding out the beds. The most common sizes of pop-ups are 8′, 10′, 12′, 14′, or 16′.
Since we’re looking for small pop-up campers only, we need to set some criteria:
- Box Size: 10 feet or less
- Exterior closed length: 17 feet or less
- Exterior width: 85″ or less
- Camper Weight: Only pop-up campers under 2,000 lbs. unloaded
In other words, we are looking for a pop-up camper that is truly on the smaller end of the scale but still packs a punch in livable space and amenities.

Before you you jump in and purchase a new camper trailer, check out why not to buy a pop-up camper for some important considerations.
Honorable Mentions
What about Jayco, Coleman, or Livin lite? These RV brands do not currently produce new pop-up campers. However, they have made some pretty solid models in the past. If you’re in the market for a used small pop-up camper, then one of these could be a great choice.
- Jayco 2019 – The 2019 Jayco pop-up camper trailer comes in four different floor plans with various amenities. This model was the 2018 Trailer Life Gold Award winner. Unfortunately, they halted the production of all pop-up campers in 2019. But, you can still find used models for sale.
- Coleman pop-up campers – Coleman stopped producing pop-up campers back in 2011, as they decided to focus on other camping equipment. You can still find used models for sale in pretty good condition.
- Livin Lite – Thor acquired Livin Lite in 2013. They continued to produce pop-up campers under the Livin Lite name until 2018, when they ceased production. You can still find Livin Lite pop-up campers for sale, many under $10,000.
