For the first time, RV buyers will be able to walk through Alliance RV’s Elkhart Open House display during a week that has traditionally been reserved for dealers and other members of the RV industry.
The larger Elkhart RV Dealer Open House runs September 28 through 30, bringing manufacturers and dealers to northern Indiana to see upcoming models. The official event website specifically describes the show as dealer-only and says it is not open to the public.
Alliance RV is changing that at its own Elkhart campus this year.
According to an Alliance RV announcement published by RVBusiness, the company will open its Plant 2 display to the public beginning Wednesday, September 30, and keep it open through Friday, October 2. Admission is free, and no registration is required.
Public hours are:
- Wednesday, September 30: Noon to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, October 1: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, October 2: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Visitors should go to the Alliance RV campus in Elkhart and follow the posted signs to Plant 2.
More Than 40 RV Floorplans Will Be on Display
Alliance says it plans to have more than 40 floorplans available to walk through, including more than 10 new layouts for the 2027 model year. Two new Alliance product lines are also scheduled to debut at the event.
A recent preview of Alliance’s 2027 lineup from RV PRO says the company is introducing new lightweight travel trailers, fifth wheels and luxury toy haulers, along with additional floorplans and an all-new high-end four-season fifth wheel.
Midwest Automotive Designs will also have Class B motorhomes on display. The company builds Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit van conversions and is now part of Alliance RV.
Alliance RV co-founder Coley Brady said opening the event to consumers gives the company another way to hear directly from the people using its products.
“The people buying these RVs are the ones whose feedback shapes them,” Brady said.
Alliance team members will be available throughout the public portion of the event to answer questions about the RVs, their features, and local dealers.
For RV shoppers who can make the trip to Elkhart, the change provides access to new 2027 models during a week that otherwise remains largely closed to the general public.
