Finding a waterfront RV campsite with hookups for under $24 a night can feel nearly impossible in many parts of the country.

 

Yet I was surprised to find campgrounds across Oklahoma still offer lakefront camping at prices that feel like they belong in another decade.

 

Many of these parks sit along large Corps of Engineers lakes and provide electric and water hookups, boat ramps, swimming areas, and easy access to the water. Even better, campers with the **America the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass** can cut these already low prices in half, bringing some sites down to around **$10 per night**.

 

Below are several waterfront RV campgrounds in Oklahoma where you can camp with hookups for less than $24 per night.

 

**Tip:** Oklahoma is surprisingly a goldmine for these types of campgrounds. I narrowed it down to 8 of the cheapest, but if you bump the nightly rate threshold to $30, there are well over 40 lakefront campgrounds with hookups across the state that meet it.

 

## 1. Taylor Ferry - Fort Gibson Lake

Taylor Ferry South Campground sits in a heavily wooded area along Fort Gibson Lake, providing plenty of shade throughout the campground. Tall trees surround many of the campsites, creating a relaxing setting for campers who want to spend time outdoors without being exposed to full sun all day.

 

The campground sits just off Highway 51, which makes getting in and out simple for RV travelers. Campers also have quick access to the main body of the lake for boating and other water activities.

 

Several stores and marinas operate nearby for supplies or equipment rentals. Boat and RV storage locations are also available within a mile of the campground.

 

Taylor Ferry South is open year-round and includes 95 campsites, with many waterfront spots offering electric and water hookups.
